The collection of the remaining wave is carried out with underground containers of 5m3 and 3.5m3 on the surface, which are emptied by high-capacity state-of-the-art trucks that allow only one driver to go. In the region there are a total of 486 containers of remaining wave, between underground and surface, which serve all municipalities except Tortosa and its districts and EMDs, therefore there is 1 container for every 96 inhabitants.

Recollida de la fracció resta

In the case of Tortosa, the contract for the collection of the remainder is managed directly by the City Council. The service is carried out with side-loading containers, and its destination is the Aldea transfer plant.

The collection is carried out during the daytime, on different days a week. In addition, the Receipt has a truck that cleans the inside and outside containers, both those on the surface and underground; in winter cleaning is done once a month, and in summer once every two weeks.

The collection of the remaining wave is carried out with 5m3 underground metal containers that are emptied by large capacity trucks and by collection teams made up of a driver and a laborer. In the region there are a total of 262 underground containers of remaining wave that serve all municipalities, therefore there is 1 container for every 276 inhabitants.

The collection is done several times at night, except in the municipalities of Freginals, Godall, La Galera, Mas de Barberans, Masdenverge and Santa Bárbara (where it is done in the morning), and on different days of the week.

There is also a remaining wave collection service from large producers and in scattered nuclei, which is done with 1,100-liter rear-loading containers. Currently 700 green containers are exploited.
The remaining wave that is collected both from the underground containers and from the route of large and disseminated producers is taken to the controlled deposit of Mas de Barberans.
