One of the important aspects in order to activate the energy transition towards a Smart Grid model is the monitoring and control in real time of the distributed energy resources, both of the production facilities and of those that can bring flexibility to the system. such as storage items or flexible consumption loads.
In this sense, the Terres de l’Ebre Energy Agency offers a platform for real-time monitoring and control of consumption and energy production. The platform is also connected to energy accounting software to be able to compare actual consumption and generation with those billed.
Currently the platform offers monitoring and control of:
- Photovoltaic generation facilities (for self-consumption or sale)
- Electric vehicle charging infrastructure
- Storage systems
